Provident and Tern IV sailing together out of Salcombe.
Tern IV:
1924 62' gaff yawl. Designed by Claud Worth, Built Philip and Sons
Ltd , Dartmouth. McKillop's built a complete wardrobe of sails in
1990 during major refit,
and provided ongoing technical support and skippering services.
Provident:
1924 70' gaff ketch, Brixham Trawler BM28. Built by Sanders and
Co of Galmpton.
Operated as a sail training vessel McKillop's have built almost
a complete complement of sails and canvaswork between 1993 and 2001.
Romilly/Roxane:
Nigel Irens designed lug rigged yawls, a traditional concept made
using modern materials.
Production boats for which McKillops made all the sails, canvaswork
and upholstery. Nigel Irens says ' McKillop's know-how in the field
of traditional sails has helped develop the efficiency of ROXANE
and ROMILLY's lug rigs.
Hand finishing of this quality is simply not available from big
lofts with high overheads'
Alice 3:
A year 2000 built 38' high performance gaff yawl. Hull designed
by Simon Rogers
at Rogers Yacht Design, rig and sail plan designed by owners and

Full Suit of sails supplied in 2000. Intended as a family cruising
yacht, the use of high-tech materials, a light displacement hull
with a fin and bulb keel make Alice 3 a wolf in sheeps clothing.

Vera Mary:
A 1932 61' gaff schooner. Designed by JM Soper and Son, built by
Berthon Boat Co.
McKillop's supplied a complete wardrobe of sails in 1993, and conducted
post refit sea trials, owner/crew training and delivery to Gran
Canaria.
